A new comedy entitled "The Stubbornness of Geraldine,” by Mr Clyde Fitch, the American dramatist, was Produced at the Garrick Theatre, New Fork, on 3rd November last, and made a remarkable hit. It deals with various phases of American life, and abounds in novel scenes and situations. One scene shows the whole section of a double-funnelled Atlantic liner. Ingenious mechanism tosses the ship from side to side, sea-sick passengers are led off by stewards, strollers pace the deck, passing ships canse excitement, and other incidents of ocean iret-el are all vividly depicted. The Oswald-Neville Dramatic Company have done good business in the Taranaki district, and now contemplate a tour cf the "smalls” in the Auckland district.
