Tho lorangi gained a slight lead, which she-kept till after rounding Pinnacle rock buoy. Here tho wind came in from the south-east,’and gavo Waitangi a splendid chance to get before the wind in mid-channel, and niako np lost ground, but tho lorangi was splendidly handled, and walked aWay from her competitor!, going to windward in fino style as the wind got back to tho north. She rounded Korokoro buoy fourteen minutes ahead, sailing in an easy winner. Second-class Yachts. Prizes, first £7 10s, second trophy.—Siren, Mahina and Muritai started. After tho Hakswoll buoy was passed Muritai took tho lead, and won comfortably. Third-class Yachts.
