Mr William Le Queues new novel “The unnamed,” which is a story of motlern Italy, is published by Messrs Modeler and Stoughton.
It is just a little amusing to read that Mr Laurence Housman, tho author ot “An Englishwoman’s Love Letters, published that famous book anonymously with no idea of getting advertisement, but merely that the book might bo judged on its merits. Tho “boom” was, it is said, unsought, though any American publisher might have envied it.
It is good news that Mr H. Soton Mgrriman’s strenuous novel “The Vultures” is proving the most popular book ho has yot written as well as one of tho best selling books at present. Mr. Memman’s popularity is a tribute to tho taste of tb© English reading public.
