Special to the “ Tunis.” , NAPIER, November 23. Mr Harold Grcgsou, a recent arrival from England, has, out of numerous applications, been appointed organist and choirmaster of St., Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Napier, in place of Mr Neville Renand, resigned. At a special meeting of the Napier Borough Council to-day it was decided to raise a loan of £IOOO as a temporary measure on the security of the rents of Corporation reserves. j 'the Chamber of Commerce to-day appointed a committee to go into the question of railway freights on the Wel-lington-Napier lino. Mr A. Copies of the resolution are to be forwarded to London and New Tojk. The Government has accepted the tender of Bull Bros, at £4750 for now Government offices in Napier.
