MANAWATU GORGE.
PRESS ASSOCIATION. PALMERSTON, November 28. To-day a slip of considerable magnitude camo down in the Manawatu Gorge, blocking tho railway traffic. The passengers by the afternoon tram had to be transhipped. It ,is expected that besides removing the block on the line, a considerable portion of the bill win have to be brought down in order to prevent further slips. This is the third time the hill has slipped at this place within the past. week. . .
