In pursuance of “The Electoral Act, 1902.’' 1, GEORGE THOMAS WILKINSON, Returning unicer for the Western Maori Electoral District, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the 11th day of November, 1802, under the hand of the Clerk oi the Writs, an Election will be held for the return of a legally qualified person to serve as a Member of the House of Representatives for the above-mentioned Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Courthouse Whanganui, at noon, on THURSX>AY, the 27th day of November, 1902; and that the Polling, if necessary, will take place on MONDAY, the 22nd day of December, 1902, at the several Polling Places within the said Electorate. Candidates shall be proposed by one, and seconded by another Elector, both of whom must'bo qualified to vote at the Election of Member for that district.
