SYDNEY, November 24. The Commonwealth Trades Union Congress has commenced its sittings, after a reception to tho delegates in tho Town Hall. Tho chairman stated that the Congress represented 149,000 unionists. If the non-a (filiated bodies were included a reasonable estimate of tho unionists of tho Commonwealthwould be a quarter of a million.
