IMPORTANT SALE of that Valuable Station Property known as “The Longbush Run,” situate near Carterton, and the Stock thereon at the time of sale, by order of the Mortgagee, under conduct of the Registrar of the Supremo Court of New Zealand. Cooper, Esq., Registrar at Wellington of the Supreme Court of New Zealand to sell by public auction at the Homestead on the Longbush Station on THURSDAY, the 24th day of April, 1902, at 11.30 a.in. o’clock, the Longbush Run and the Sheep, Cattle and Horses thereon at the time of sale as follows: (1) All that Freehold Land being part of Section 2, VYharekaka Block and being part of Lot A on deposited plan No. 249, Land Transfer Office, Wellington, containing 82 acres, the property of Messrs C. J. and F. G. Tully. (2) The Lease for 2.1 years from the 20th day of October, 1894, of the Ngawaka-a-Kupe No. 3, D Block, containing 4000 acres, created by Memorandum of Lease, registered No. 3061 and granted to the firm of Messrs Tully Bros. The yearly rent reserved by tms Lease is .£6OO. (3) The Lease for 21 years from the 20lh day of October, 1894, of the Nga-waka-a-Kupe No. 3 A, No. 3 B and No. 3 C Blocks, containing altogether 6109 acres 2 roods 11 perches, created by Memorandum of Lease registered No. 3099, and granted to the firm of Messrs Tully Bros. The yearly rent reserved by this Lease is .£9lB 12s. The above Leases will be sold subject as regards the eastern portion of the said Blocks numbered respectively 38, 3C and 3D. containing altogether 2391 acres 2 roods to a sub-lease thereover for the term of 3 years from the 15th day of June, 1900, at the yearly rent of £358 14s 6d, with option of renewal for the balance of the term of the Head Lease at the same rent and subject to the same conditions. (4) All those Flocks of Sheep, the resgective properties of Messrs Tully ros. and of Messrs C. J. and F. G. Tully numbering altogether 12,970 or thereabouts and comprising: 2000 2-tooth Lincoln-Eomney ewes 1800 2-t„oth wethers 4850 Llncoln-Romney breeding ewes (4-tooth and upwards) 4200 lambs' 100 Romney rams 30 Lincoln rams (5) All that herd of Cattle the property of Messrs C. J. and F. G. Tully, numbering 1200 or thereabouts, comprising (about)— 350 3 aud 4-yeap old Shorthorn cows in calf to p.b. Shorthorn bulls 250 2-ycar Shorthorn steers 300 2-year Shorthorn empty heifers 250 good weaners 50 good springing dairy heifers, well forward 10 Shorthorn hulls (6) All those Horses, the property of Messrs C. J. and F. G. Tully, sumbeing 75 or thereabouts, including tho well-known stallion "Saracen” (pedigree at sale), thoroughbred brood mares in foal and with foals at foot. 2 and 3-yoar-old geldings and fillies, 10 draught horses, station hacks and harness horses, eto. NOTE.—The above stock, as well as tbe horses, will bo sold ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT RESERVE, and in sublets to suit purchasers. The Whole of the foregoing lands and stock will be offered for sale in exercise of the powers of sal© conferred by various mortgage securities held by the Mortgagee thereover. This valuable property has been described as one of the picked runs of the Wairarapa district. A large quantity of it is flat, therefore suitable for dairying and fattening.
