A hundred persons were killed during tho recent riots in Barcelona. Additional cases of plague are reported from Sydney and Brisbane. News from South Africa- gives particulars of recent engagement. with Boers. Princo Henry of Prussia was officially welcomed on his arrival at New York. A report on the city water supply was adopted last night by the Wellington City Council. Tho cricket match between MacLaren’s team and the Victorian eleve’n was continued yesterday. It is expected that tho Tariff Bill will be through the Australian Commonwealth Parliament by Easter.
