DEATH OF A MAGISTRATE.
(Received November 13, 0.14 a.m.) LONDON, November 12. The death is announced of Sir Frank, liu Lushington, who had been Chief Police Magistrate for London since ISO 9.
Tho late Magistrate was horn in 1823, and became a barrister of tho Inner Temple in 1858. Ho wag appointed Metropolitan Police Magistrate for the Iharacs in 1869, and held tlurt position until 1890, when he became Magistrate at Bow street. He published in 1854 “The Wagers ot Battle.”
