CARTERTON.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) Tuesday, 4.30 p.m.
In the Alagistrato’s Court this morning Charles Blake, a AHctorian, aged twenty-six, was charged with pocketpicking on the Taratalu racecourse. On tho application of his solicitor, Blake wa.s remanded till the 19th inst., 'when the case will come up in the local Court. Bail was allowed, but was not forthcoming.
