FELDWICK said ho would ask leave to withdraw tho clause. Leave to withdraw was not granted, and tho clause was negatived on tho voices. . Tho Bill was then reported Without amendment, read a third time and passed. Rabbit Nuisance Amendment Bill. Tho Rabbit Nuisance Act Amendment Bill passed its final stages without amendment, and was passed. SViiriors’jilßifiSrts Fee Reduction Bill. Tho Minors’ Rights Fee Reduction Bill passed its final stages without alteration or discussion. Money-lenders Bill. On tho motion of tho Hon. W. C. Walker, tho Money-lenders Bill was re-' committed for tho purpose of making certain amendments. Tho Minister said he desired to amend clause 2 in the direction of fhserring a proviso to exempt bottomry bondholders from tho term “money-lender.” /If the Bill were re. committed ho would then move to report progress and give notice of a new clause. Tho motion was carried on tho voices, and the Bill committed. Progress was reported, and further consideration deferred till next day. Tho Council rose at 3.00 p.m.
