Alcock, secretary of the Surrey Club, shall ar.. range - fixtures for the Australian team visiting England next year. MELBOURNE. October 16. The dates of the test matches against Maclaren’s team have been fixed as fol. lows: 13th December; Melbourne, Ist January; Adelaide, 16th January; Sydney, 14th February; Mel„ bourne, Ist March. JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. 5 The following are the drawings for the Junior Championship for 19th and 26tb inst.: —College ground, College v. Wellington; No. 3, Phoenix A v. Phoenix B; No. 4. Midland v. Old Boys. After the meeting of the Grocers’ Assistants’ Union, held in the Trocadero last' ntgbt, a strong cricket club was formed. It is intended to enter for the Wednesday championship.
