OBITUARY.
ME RICHARD SPEIGHT. PERTH, September 20. Mr Richard Speight, ex-Victorian Railway Commissioner, is dead. After leaving Victoria ho came here, engaged in business, and entered Parliament. Mr Speight was in the-service of the Midland Railway Company until 1834, when, on the Victorian Government deciding to transfer the administration of the State railways to a board of three experts, he was chosen chairman of tho board. i .
