EKETAHUNA.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent-.) Tuesday, 4.25 p.m. Owing to an outbreak of scarlet fever the Newman School has been closed for a fortnight. Tho wife of Mr W. H- Fisher, of Stirling, aged fifty-five, died on Saturday night, after a lingering illness. The funeral took place to-day, the Rev J. Walker officiating. ,, 4 It is computed by one who knows that the antimony discovered at Eketahuna contains 90 per cent, of the real mineral. The report of tho Government Analyst is looked forward to with interest.
