The first volume of the “Jersey Herd Book of Australasia” contains the ped** grees of eighty-one bulls, and 41 cows, together with their progeny. The society will distribute 1000 free copies of the book, which, it is hoped, will have, the effect of bringing ’the aims of the society more prominently before the public.
