ENTERTAINMENTS.

"The Fencing Master” was successfully repeated at the Opera House last night. Miss Stanton again scoring an emphatic success in the name part. This afternoon "Fra Diavolo,” which has proved so popular with Wellington audiences, is to be repeated, and to-night (the last of the present season) the dainty opera "Dorcas’’ will be revived.

Crowds are being nightly attracted, to the Theatre Royal by the talented Gaiety Company. This evening the Galardi Sisters will appear for the last time. Miss •Rosser will also take - her leave. The Ives Thiers and Miss Olive Lenton will ap. pear on Monday. The pleasant change, offered by a capital performance in a well-lighted, comfortablywarmed auditorium attracted another good audience to the Choral Hall last night, where the present Vaudeville Company is nighly reaping a big harvest of applause. There will be a complete change of programme to-night. An exceedingly pleasant time waa passed at the Missions to Seamen last evening, when Mr Moore spoke on "Ambulance and Lessons from the Recent Fires." The competitions were entered into with much zest. Miss Picot presented a bright little programme of music, in which she was assisted by the Misses Banks, Farmer and Ogborne, and Messrs Farmer and Picot.
