At the Orangemen’s anniversary concert to-night, the Rev Potter moved the following resolution: —“That wo, mem. hers of the Orange Institution, Protestants and citizens of the Empire, solemnly prot test against any alteration in the Coronation Oath and that wo respectfully ask His Excellency the Governor to forward the protest to the Secretary of State for the Colonies.” CHRISTCHURCH, July 13. A new morgue for the city has just been completed, fitted with all the latest appliances for conducting post mortem examinations. ■ " The Canterbury Land Board has resojv. ed to recommend the forfeiture of Mr John Robinson’s lease in the Eainoliffe Settlement, together with the moneys paid by him. on the ground that he made « false ctatsment at the time of the application, alleging that with the land for which he was applying ho would hold less than a thousand acres, whereas the actual area was 1589 acres. A further resolution recommending that proceedings be taken to the full extent of the Jaw was carried .
