C. SMITH’S SALE. C. Smith, the Cash Draper and Clothier, of Cuba street, commences his winter sale to-morrfow (Saturday) morning. These season sales hare become quite an institution with those of the Wellington public who are on the look-out for a bargain, and there is no doubt there will be a great rush on Saturday morning. The sale is being held exceptionally early this year so as to ensure a reduction of stock before stocktaking, and includes a special purchase of blankets and a lot of new season goods, late shipped, which arrived here fate in the season. There are some most extraordinary lines in the show room, including jackets, mackintoshes, millinery, underclothing, etc. Dress lengths will be almost given away, and great sacrifice is being made in men’s and boys’ clothing.
