CONTROL OF THE HEBRIDES.
(Received June 8, 1.5 a.m.) LONDON, June 7. M. Paul Le Roy Beaulieu, writing in “L’Economist Francaise,” advocates the annexation of the New Hebrides in exchange for French rights in Newfoundland, Franco giving an undertaking not to send convicts to the Islands. In any event, the writer adds, the co-dominion of the New Hebrides must cease, and the Islands ho divided.
