TRESS ASSOCIATION. HOKITIKA, April 15. An old miner named Lazzaro Morazzi was killed iu his claim at Duffers’ Creek on Friday. A fall of earth completely bur icd him. He was not found till next day. CHRISTCHURCH, April 10. Mrs Sophia- Burch, a widow, aged about scvcntv-scvcu, dropped dead in a pew at tiie Lyttelton Wesleyan. Church during service last night. Heart disease was the cause of death. Mr C. J. Waekerle, who came to Aharon witli the hreach scttlcio iu 1840, died on Friday, aged eighty-five years.
Ou inquiry at the Hospital last night it was slated t-li-.t the condition of Air Henry Hunt, of Karori. who met with a bicvclc accident, is still regarded as very -serious. He has not yet recovered censelousncss. although forty-eight hours have elapsed since the accident occurred.
