KILLED BY AN AVALANCHE. LONDON. March 25. An avalanche descended upon the villages of Simplon and Senz, in Switzerland. Several persons were fatally crushed. Others were rescued after having endured severe sufferings for three days. WELCOME RAIN. BRISBANE, March 26.
