The Hon Henry Copeland, AgentGeneral for New South Wales, has re•minded Mr Chamberlain that in November, 1899, he admitted that he saw no objection to New South Wales accepting the company’s offer and conceding the company the right to open offices for direct communication with the public and delivery of cable messages.
