Bronze .medals to Mamae Rangitahua. and lta' I?akiha, two "Maori gim, for! rescuing Rikiranga born from' drowning in the Wanganui .River ’ on -November-26th, ,'I9OO. George Dunn-and'Patrick McGafferty ‘ granted first-class' certifici&es for rescuing Richard Robertson from an exploding blast at .Waiowaha, ; du December 21st, 1899;' H. C. Brice, for rescuing Katie Collin* from drowning at Lyttelton bn' January sth, 1901; and to Rupert Rich, for a boy from drowning at Lyttelton December 22nd, 1900.
