The entries were fair, but the attendance' was small at the Addington market to-day : Fat oattlc—lCS were yarded, a. number in excess of requirements. Ordinary steers brought £5 16s to £!) 7s Gd; heifers, £5 10s to £7 : cows, £-1 5s to £7 ss. Prices per 1001 b ranged from 17s to 22s Gd'. Store cattle—A large entry, of which a, number were passed unsold. Dry cows, £2 Is to £-L; 12-months to 2-years, £3 2s Gd to £3 17s 6d. Fat sheep—The entry was small, and prices about the same as last week. Heavy-weight wetliiers, 19s Gd to 20s 9d : ; lighter. IGs to 17s 9d. The demand for export slieop was slack, in absence of freezing buyers. A small lino of merino wethers fetched 13s Gd. Fat lambs—A moderate entry, and irregular sale for good sorts at n slight advance oh last week’s rates. Good freezers, 16s. 3d; butchers’, 10s Gd to 14s. Store sheep—l2,6oo were penned. The heavy entry n.ia its effect on the market, and some good: lines were withdrawn. Lambs, 9s 7d to 12s 2d!; wethers, 14s Sd to 16s 10d'; half-bred and crossbred, ewes, 8s 3d: to IGs Gd.
