QUEENSLAND BORROWING LOCALLY.
(Received March 20, 1 a.m.) * BRISBANE, March 19. Tenders for the million loan at 3' per cent., which was placed on the Australian market, have been opened. The sum of .£1,351,000 was tendered at pri. cos ranging from £9O to £lOl per cent At from £99 to £lOl per cent. £968,000 was offered.
