THE AUXILIARY FORCES
LONDON, March f 7. Lord Wolscley, in tho course of his speech in the House of Lords, complained that he had repeatedly reported to Lord Lansdowno that it was cruel, u not criminal, to send tho auxiliary forces into action with obsolete and useless guns, but his representations had been disregarded. The attitude taken up by Lord Lansdowno was that tho needs of tho regulars must first be supplied.
