There were no senior cup matches on Saturday. The second-class match Wellington v. Wellington College 1., was played at the College Ground on Saturday. In the third-class match, Midland third v. College A, at the college ground, Midland scored 202 (Williams 59, Latta 24). The totals gained by the College team were 56 and 79 (Jordan 25, Denton 14. Speedy not out 17). Midland won bv an innings and 47 runs. The College B v. Karori match, also played on the college ground, was won by the College team by 45 runs.
