HE UNBURDENS HIMSELF.
“I was born in London, and! came to Australia when twentv-oue years old ” said Mr B. E. A. Louder, of 64 Wharf street, Brisbane, when giving a reporter the outline of his life. “In 'Bl, I was editor of the “Armidale Chronicle,” and later ou X edited the “Allora Guardian upswwh Advocate," and "Hughendeu iiuisign! then I became leader writer for the "Rockhampton Argus,” In *B4, whilst in Rockhampton, I found that twenty years in tropical Queensland! had undermined my once strong constitution. I became a victim to indigestion, pains in the back and shoulders, lassitude, and sleeplessness. Four hundred eaud fifty prsons were down with, malar-
ial fever, and the doctor said I had contracted it; before, long, shivering fits, sickness, and chilliness, bore out his diagnosis. I took enough'medicines,’’ said Mr Louder with characteristic decision, “to float a small gun-boat. After that, I consulted about twenty doctors, but I was regarded as incurable, dyspepsia being my worst trouble. I had to force myself to eat,, but the plainest diet caused severe pains. Having read that Dr Williams’ pink pills had been beneficial, in such cases I began taking them. A few days later I certainly felt improved and was able to digest food better. Six boxes completely cured ipe. My health is splendid and my friends tell me I never looked so well as I do now.”
