It is believed that the question of the Boer surrender was discussed. The City Council last night decided to take a poll of the ratepayers on the question of installing a system, of electric tramways in the city. ' . . Special ambassadors Fave been appointed to announce to foreign Courts the death of Queen Victoria and the accession of King Edward. A committee of experts has recommended that in future British warships shall he fitted with some type of boiler other than the Belleville.
