THE CONINGHAM CASE
(Received March 13, 1.14 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 12.
The cross-examination of the petitioner Coningham lasted a great part of the day. . / At the conclusion, in answer to Mr Want’s statement that he would show the Judge and jury that this was a conspiracy, the petitioner said the letters alleged to have passed between himself and the respondent since last trial, and which had been put in as evidence,- wore forgeries. He would prove forgery, perjury, seduction -and very nearly murder. The petitioner called the respondent, whose examination was not finished when, the Court adjourned. ;
