Guiseppe Renai.—No member of a society can be compelled to accept office against his'will. The election of a person who declined nomination would, however,-be quite valid if he afterwards consented to H.M.8.M., T. 8., Manakaii, and, E.A.M., Feilding, received, with thanks., "Patriot.’' —Your letter is rambling and unnecessarily offensive in tone. One sentence is worth rescuing. , You say—- " Socialism is a failure, while til6 Evil One is adrift on this earth, 'deceiving nations and individuals;' and will be a success when Christ Jesus reigns in the hearts and minds of the people; then everything will ho holiness to the Lord, politics included."
