SWIMMING
At a. meeting of the swimming clubs yesterday afternoon the following teams were selected to represent the Wellington centre in the Teams’ Race at the championship carnival to be held at W anganui on the 21st and 23rd inst.: “A ” Team—G. A. Wilkes, O. Freyberg J. T. Gray and E. F. Richardson. “ B Team—F. "Roberts, C. Johnson, A. J. Styles and A. W. Smith. The clubs will bo represented in the championship events by—F; Roberts, G. A. Wilkes and O. Freyberg. It is expected that tho above swimmers will give a good account of themselves at tho carnival. Mr Gray, captain of tho Thorndon Club, lias been elected manager of the party.
