THE ROYAL VISIT
LONDON, March 6. Power has been given to the Duke of Cornwall to confer knighthoods during his tour of the colonies.
SYDNEY, March 7. Thai Cabinet has decided that the Duke of Cornwall, be asked to lay the foundation stone of a house in Centennial Park where the remains and memorials of statesmen and others whose memories aro'cherished can be kept. The first wing will be set japart for the troops who have fallen in South Africa.
