Mr John Matliiesqn,_ the Victorian Railway Commissioner,' "has accepted the general managership of the Midland Railway of England. Mr Mathieson will sever his connection with Victoria as soon as the rush of traffic in connection with the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall is over.
