UNIVERSITY SENATE.

Standing orders were read to the effect that the adoption of a resolution hy the Senate was equivalent to the . ccond reading of a Bill; that resolutions passed by the Senate bad to bo lefarred to a committee to prepare a Cd! thereon; and that the Bill must be considered in committee of the ■.vi. de Senate. It was then agreed to go into com. ini it oe on, the Bill. The committee reported in favour of fl c Bill amended, so that the resolution should apply only to term time.
