The Pekin correspondent cf “The 1 imes” states that Russia is pressing Yang-yu, the Chineas Minister Plenipotentiary, at St. .Petersburg, to sign a further convention strengthening the exclusive Russian protectorate of Manchuria, and granting Russia special privileges in Northern China.
