AJatheson, an. engineer omnloyod by tin- Chinese Government; and Mr Alfred Hart, a diamond expert from Manila, mid Ids wife. Mr "William Brainier, a member of the London Stock Exchange, was saved by means of a life pros’rvor. The latest accounts state that Captain Ward remained ou tlie bridge until the ship foundered.
