NEW SOUTH WALES TREASURY BILLS
STATEMENT BY SIR W. LYNE. LONDON, February 22. New South Wales has. placed a million 4 per cent. Treasury bills, with a currency of four years, on the London market. Tho price has been withhold. (Received February 23. 8.45 p.m.i SYDNEY, February 23. Sir William Lyno states that the bills are part of tho £4,000.000 loan which was authorised by Parliament" during the session before last, and of which £1,500,000 has already been placed locally. Ho fixed the limit at 99 per cent. (Received Fcbruarv 24, 5.23 p.mj LONDON, February 23. The price fixed for tho issue of Nor, South Wales Treasury bills was 99 percent. The “Daily Chronicle” complaint that tho issue was a hole-and-corncr one and that a. few of, the privileged allot., tors arc now asking 99 J, per cent.
