DUKE OF CORNWALL’S TOUR.
R.M.S. OPHIR RE-FURNISHED. LONDON, February i’t. Tho R.M.S. Ophir, which is to take the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall tc Australia, has been beautifully re-deco-rated and re-furnished. Their Royal Highnesses have visited the vessel, and expressed delight at the complete transformation.
Sir Arthur Biggc, who was private secretary to the late Queen Victoria, will accompany the Duke of Cornwall in a secretarial capacity. A PROPOSED TlMri-TABLE. The Governor-General (Lord Hopetouu) ha.s submitted for Mr Chamberlain’s approval the following time-table for the Duke of Cornwall's movements in Australia: Arrive at Melbourne on May 6th, open the Federal Parliament on the oth, and leave on the 17th. Arrive at Brisbane on May 20th, and leave on the 2oth. Arrive at Sydney on May 27th, and leave on June Sth. Arrive in New Zealand on June 12th, and leave on the 28th. Arrive at Hobart on July Ist, and leave on the 6th. Arrive at Adelaide on July 9th, and leave on the 15th. Arrive at Perth on July 19th, and leave Australia on the 24th of that month
