Mr Nocline will resume business on Monday next. The annual meeting of the Wellington Gas Company will ho held on Friday, February 1, at the Chamber of Commerce. Messrs Laery and Co. will sell at their mart, Jervois quay, on Saturday, rattan furniture, cycles, safes, etc. Messrs Baker Bros.’ sale of property in the estate of the jate John Hailey will he held oa Wednesday, 3()th inst. This evening will he pay night for Nos. t, 3 and 5, Wellington Uo-operative Building Societies. The meeting of directors of No. 3 wilt not be held. A ferry steamer will leave for Day’s Bay at 7 a.m. and 5.15 p.m., returning at 8 a.m., and 6 mm. daily, Saturdays and Sundays exceptgfl. On Saturday, the 5.15 and 6 p.m. trips will replaced by trips at 2.30 and 5 p.m. Tenders will be received till noon on Friday, February 22, for the supply ox Coals and fresh provisions to H.M. ships at Wellington for a period of twelve months from April Ist.
