WELLINGTON TROTTING CLUB. The best acceptances on record have been, received for the Summer Meeting of the Wellington Trotting Club, which opens at Potone Recreation Ground today. There are over twenty first-class performers from Christchurch competing. Trains leave Te Aro for Petone at It! a.m.,' 11.56 a.m., and 1 p.m. and 2.2 C p.m. The first race is timed to start at one o’clock. The following horses arc suggested as likely to run'well in their engagements: Trial Handicap, Vanquish; Railway Handicap, Veto; Trotting Club Handicap, Daybreak; District Handicap; Steve Hart; President’s Handicap, Berlin Maid; Dash Handicap Monte Carlo ; Electric' Handicap, Honour.
