OLD AGE PENSIONS
SYDNEY, November 15. In the Legislative Assembly the Old Age Pensions Bill was passed through, committee without important amendment. . ' , Sir William Lyne’s promised clause providing for payment of pensions to persons between sixty and sixty-five who are unable to earn a living was incorporated in the Bill. It means an extra expenditure of £60,000.
