A FATAL FIRE.
SEVEN PERSONS BURNED. (Received August 20, 1 a.in.) .MELBOURNE, August 19. A terrible fire is reported from Ballarat. A store occupied by the family of Thomas Jenkins and Eis married daughter (Mrs Algie) was burned down. Seven of the inmates perished, the vetims being Mrs Algie and hey two little children and two sons and two daughters of Jenkins. The remainder of those sleeping on the premises escaped with difficulty.
