NEWS FROM ASHANTI.
LONDON, July 13. Sir Frederick Hodgson, Governor of Gold Coast, who recently fought Ills way out of Kumassi, and has since arrived at Cape Coast Castle, brought with him Kokofu, the heir to the exiled King Prenip eh. Colonel Wilcocks’s Kumassi relief column had reached Bekwai on the 9th instant.
