EXECUTION OF A MURDERER.
(Received March 26, 10.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, March 26
The man William Jones, condemned to death for the murder and outrage of an eight-year-old girl named Rita Jones at Broadford, has been executed. Heath was instantaneous. Jones has left a statement in which ho declares his innocence.
