AQUATICS.
The final heat of the Scott Fours, in which' nineteen crews belonging to the Wellington Rowing Club have taken part, was decided last evening in smooth water on the south course. The result Was that E. Hutchen (bow), N. Thompson (2), J. Francis (3), T. Slinn (stroke) and C. McKeegan (cox) defeated W. Quinn (bow), G-., N. Baggett (2), W. Duff (3), J. McKenzie (stroke) and S. Gyles (cox) by a boat's length. At the conclusion of the race hearty cheers were given for Mr Simon Scott, the donor of the trophies (gold medals) for the event.
