(Received January 20, 7.10 p.m.) , CAPETOWN, January 19. Further details- have been received of the disaster .-which befel portion of the' New South Wales Lancers ami First Australian Horse, wlxilb ' reconnoitring towards Nerval's point on Tuesday last, under Lieutenant W. V. Dowling. It appears that Sergeant-Major Gniton, of: the Australian Horse, was killed, not Trooper Griffiths, of South Australia, as previously telegraphed! Corporal Kilpatrick, of tho Lancers, who wa.s severely wounded, has since died. Tho following arc missing from the Australian Horso :—Corporal Wilson and Troopers Fames and Lynn. From tho Lancers the missing men are; .Sergeant-Major Fisher, Sergeant McDonald, Corporal Hopf, Troopers Daley, Dondnoy, Found, Johnstone, Roberts, Taylor and Whittington.
