HOLIDAY EXCURSION TICKETS, available for return until TUESDAY, 30th JANUARY, 1800, will be obtainable from any station to any station on the Welling-ton-Napier-New Plymouth Section (excepting in eases where the ordinarv fares are less) from MONDAY, 18th DECEMBER, 1899, to TUESDAV, 2nd JANUARY, 1900. The period for which these tickets are available for return may be extended for a further 14 days on paymentof the difference in value between an ordinary single ticket and half the excursion fare. Persons desiring an extension of time must apply at the station to which the original ticket was issued, on or before 30th January. They.are available for ( break of journey at any station, at which train is timed to stop, over 25 miles from issuing station. NOTE.—On SATURDAYS, 23rd and 30th DECEMBER— Special Trains for Masterton will leave Te Aro at 8.0 a.m. and 6.25 p.m., and Wellington at 8.15 a.m. and 6.42 p.m.; and a special train will leave Masterton for Te Aro at 5.20 p.m. These trains will stop at all stations if required. On these two dates Holiday Excursion Tickets from To Aro, Upper Hutt, and intermediate stations—to Peatherston, Greytown. Masterton and intermediate stations, and from Masterton, Greytown, Featherston and intermediate stations—to stations south thereof will not he available for mail trains. The train leaving Te Aro at 6.25 p.m. and Wellington at 6.42 p.m. will connect at Masterton with a train for Woodville. TheTe Aro to Napier mail train will not stop at flag stations between Lower Hutt and Masterton except to take up passengers for stations north of Masterton. ■ The Napier to Te Aro mail ti-ain will not stop at flag stations south of Masterton. Passengers from north of Masterton - for such flag stations must transfer to the special train leaving Masterton for Te Aro at 5.2 ft p.m. NOTE.—On 26th DECEMBER and Ist JANUARY— Holiday Excursion Tickets, outward or return, from To Aro, Wellington, Kaiwavra, Ngahauranga, Petone and Lower Hutt, to Featherston. Greytown, Kurununi, and intermediate stations, will not he available by north mail train. Holiday Excursion Tickets will not be available from Takapan,' Onnomlville- or Makotuku to Dannevirke, nor from Masterton, Greytown.
