VOLUNTEER NEWS
The weekly parade of the Wellington ■Naval Artillery was held at the Mounl Cook (tri’shcci undr Lieutenant-Com-mander Boil find Lieutenants Coopc and ■ Biss hist night. There was a strong muster of the corps, about eight,/ members being present. The corps was exercised in Maxim gun drill,, in dismounting a G t-pquuder, and in physical drill. Master - Gunner Richardson R.A., conducted the . usual officers’ class. A t the conclusion of the parade Mr William Handyside was elected a lieutenant of the corps.
